AMPLIFAI Springer LNCS Proceedings: OpenReview Submission Instructions

How to submit an optional proceedings paper through OpenReview.

Proceedings papers are optional. They are separate from the mandatory Public Method Overview.

Teams intending to submit a proceedings paper must complete the Intent-to-Submit form by August 10, 2026.

Complete the Intent-to-Submit Form

The initial manuscript submission deadline is August 17, 2026.

OpenReview submission portal

Proceedings manuscripts must be submitted through the AMPLIFAI OpenReview venue:

AMPLIFAI 2026 OpenReview Portal

Before submitting

Check that:

Springer LNCS author templates and instructions are available here: Springer LNCS Information for Authors and Editors.

How to submit

  1. Sign in to OpenReview

Sign in using an existing OpenReview account or create a new account. All authors listed on the manuscript must have active OpenReview profiles before the paper can be submitted.

Authors should ensure that their profile contains:

    • Full name
    • Current email address
    • Current institutional affiliation
    • Publication history, if relevant
  2. Open the AMPLIFAI venue

Navigate to the AMPLIFAI OpenReview page and select the submission invitation for the AMPLIFAI proceedings track.

  3. Create a new submission

Select New Submission and complete all required fields.

The submission form will request information including:

    • Paper title
    • Complete author list
    • Author OpenReview profiles
    • Keywords
    • Abstract
    • Manuscript PDF
    • Any additional AMPLIFAI-specific information requested in the form

The title, abstract, author list, and author order entered in OpenReview should match the submitted manuscript.

  4. Upload the manuscript

Upload the initial manuscript as a single PDF. The paper must:

    • Use the Springer LNCS format.
    • Be 6 to 11 pages in total.
    • Be legible and complete.
    • Contain no page numbers or running headers added manually.
    • Include all figures, tables, references, disclosures, and appendices within the page limit.

One optional supplementary PDF may be uploaded where additional material is necessary, if the submission form provides a supplementary-material field. Supplementary material must be submitted as a single self-contained PDF. It will be provided to reviewers and may be made publicly available if the paper is accepted. Supplementary material must not be used to circumvent the manuscript page limit or omit information necessary to understand the primary method. Springer accepts supplementary PDFs, but the files must be final because its typesetters do not edit supplementary material.

  5. Verify the author list

    Confirm that:

    • Every author is included.
    • The author order is correct.
    • Names are written consistently between the manuscript and OpenReview.
    • The intended corresponding author is clearly identified in the manuscript.
    • The corresponding-author email address is included in the manuscript.

Author information may be updated before the August 17 submission deadline. The author list must be final before the accepted paper is delivered to Springer.

  6. Submit and verify

After submitting, return to the paper page and verify that:

    • The PDF opens correctly.
    • The title and abstract are correct.
    • All authors are listed.
    • The author order is correct.
    • All required form fields have been completed.
    • The correct manuscript version was uploaded.

Authors may revise their submission until the initial manuscript deadline.

Expected manuscript content

The paper should describe the team’s latest implemented AMPLIFAI method as of the initial manuscript deadline.

Include the following where relevant:

External-resource disclosure

State clearly any resources used beyond the data provided directly by AMPLIFAI.

This includes:

If you used no external resources, say so explicitly.

The disclosures in the manuscript should match your challenge-platform declarations.

Review process

Each proceedings submission will be evaluated by:

The proceedings will use a single-blind review process. Reviewers and meta-reviewers will be able to see the authors’ identities, while reviewer and meta-reviewer identities will remain confidential.

For accepted papers, the OpenReview submission page, anonymized reviews, and meta-review may be made publicly available as part of the MICCAI Satellite Event publication process.

Reviewers will consider:

Proceedings-paper acceptance is independent of final challenge leaderboard performance. Challenge ranking is based on the published AMPLIFAI evaluation procedure.

Selected accepted papers may be invited for presentation at the AMPLIFAI Satellite Event at MICCAI 2026. One accepted submission will be selected for the AMPLIFAI Best Proceedings Paper Award based on scientific quality, technical soundness, relevance to AMPLIFAI, reproducibility, and clarity of presentation.
