AI2Practice Brief

AI2Practice Brief

A low-volume editorial series that interprets developments in medical AI and connects them to evidence appraisal, clinical practice, and the AI lifecycle.

One destination for updates and commentary

AI2Practice Brief is the editorial front door for new developments. It replaces competing labels such as “Updates,” “New & Noteworthy,” and “Updates & Commentary” with one consistent identity.

Editorial rule: low volume, high interpretation. A Brief entry should explain not only what changed, but what evidence would make it clinically meaningful and where it belongs in the AI lifecycle.

Standard entry format

1

What changed?

A concise description of the development, source, and relevant scope.

2

Why does it matter?

The clinical or operational interpretation, separated from promotional claims.

3

What evidence is missing?

The key uncertainty, external-validity issue, or deployment question that remains.

4

Where does it fit?

A direct link to the relevant AI2Practice lesson, lifecycle stage, or Research Lab theme.

Brief archive

The production archive can be repository-backed and sorted by category, date, and related curriculum topic. The homepage is designed to surface a small number of recent entries without turning the site into a news feed.

Suggested cadence: approximately one to two substantial entries per month, with flexibility when a development genuinely merits interpretation.
